Overview

The course provides an introduction to ITIL® version 3 best practices and how it differs from the current ITIL guidelines.

Objectives

This course will educate delegates on the changes brought about by the new ITIL® v3 refresh documenting industry best practices. The course covers the new Service Lifecycle approach to implementing new and changed services, and outlines all changes to existing processes as well as covering the new additional processes.

The course includes the examination to achieve the ITIL® Foundation Bridging Certificate. The exam is taken on the second day of class.

Existing holders of the ITIL® v2 Foundation Certificate who want a fast-track to ITIL® v3 Foundation knowledge and certificate

Certification

The Foundation Bridging Certificate in IT Service Management. An earlier version of the ITIL® Foundation Certificate is a pre-requisite. The examination is a 30-minute multiple choice test with 20 questions, normally taken at the end of the course.
