entility® Process Designer (EPD)

entility® Process Designer
is an essential component of Maryville Technologies’ IT Resource Optimization® (ITRO®) methodology. This Web-based application hosts a catalog of IT process definitions. It enables an IT organization to define, document and publish its processes. It serves as a vehicle by which Maryville Technologies ITRO® best practice processes are delivered and maintained.

entility Process DesignerTM—eProcessTM, for short—is available stand-alone, to support the authoring of new playbooks within an IT organization, or delivered with some or all of the ITRO® best practice process definitions. Process workflows are presented graphically inside a Web browser. Process designers may update and enhance ITRO® processes, or create additional process workflows, with an editing facility that ensures consistency of layout and process activity definition. Process definitions can be rendered into PDF output documents for distribution to other stakeholders.

Processes are stored using industry-standard XPDL 2.0 (XML Process Definition Language). Processes defined using Entility Process DesignerTM may be exchanged with other XPDL 2.0-compliant design tools, and may be exported to workflow engines supporting this same standard.
